Over the past thirty years, JEM's scholars, producers, video editors and translators have generated a vast trove of high-quality videos of the Rebbe–as well as stories, audio and photographs. The development of these materials–unparalleled in history–was made possible by thousands of donors like you.
This project stands on the foundation of The Living Archive, made possible by lead support from The Rohr Family Foundation and Benyamin Federman. Their vision restored and preserved the thousands of hours of footage and audio, and the hundreds of thousands of photos.
The multi-year scholarly effort to index, tag, structure and write accurate summaries of the entire archive was driven by the generous support of the archives was driven by the generous support of the Grinshtein Family, Eliyahu and Inna Kholodenko and Family, George and Pamela Rohr, and Zusha and Shulamis Tenenbaum. This unique effort enables the AI system to locate the correct materials with remarkable accuracy.
This AI initiative was made possible through an extraordinary lead grant by Mr. Igor Tulchinsky, CEO of WorldQuant, whose generosity and vision spearheaded this groundbreaking AI project—funding the development, training, and implementation of JEMai.
Special thanks to Rabbi Elkanah Shmotkin for his leadership, Rabbi Mendel Gourarie for overseeing the project’s implementation, and Rabbi Dovid Goldberg for leading the scholarly team ensuring accuracy and integrity. We also extend our gratitude to Yisroel Lazerson for his expertise as an AI specialist, Levi Naki and Levik Shmotkin for their work on the interface, and Elchonon Korenblit for his contributions as a developer. We acknowledge the creative efforts of the Marketing team, led by Rabbi JJ Munitz, with design by Mendel Shmotkin and copy by Yosef Eagle, for their work on the naming, visual identity, and messaging of the project.
During this limited beta phase, JEMai features will be available to JEMClub members, who will help us refine and optimize the experience ahead of a full public launch anticipated in summer/winter 2025.
"Feeling lost one day, I typed, ‘Something to give me hope,’ and JEMAI found the most uplifting words from the Rebbe. It’s so easy to use, and I love that I can trust every word comes straight from the archives."
